Julie,
ReplyDeleteYour timeline seems realistic, but you do have alot to accomplish in a year. You might find that need to conduct teacher interviews and reflections throughout the process and modify the instructional approaches between assessments rather than just getting feedback at the end of the year. Chances are you will be doing that informally when you examine the student's performance on the common assessments, but you might want to build that into your plan so you will remember to take formal notes or record their comments/feedback.
Just a thought.

Thank you! My principal was out at the end of the week and I didn't get to meet with her. I met with the assistant principal, but she wasn't as insightful as you were. This will help me to make revisions. I will try to meet with my principal on Monday and if she has any other thoughts, I will add them, too, and re-post again.
